Ok this tagline sounds kinda familiar. What’s the difference here to the stuff we’ve got right now? Well there are three things that made me smile while using alltop.
Frictionless Design
First of all its interface which has been updated recently. The simplicity of layout and interactions is a real refresher after staring at your common news site. That makes getting blogs and content for your favorite topic really a frictionless task in alltop.
Explaining what they do
They’ve made it easy for Mr. and Mrs. “IdontCareWhatTheHellRSSis” is to understand what they do. You don’t need a bloated “About” page to do that. Just a simple tag line and a nice intro video can do the job.
How they dig for nuggets
Last but not least is the alltop approach that helps you to find the nuggets (great visualization by the way) in this huge cloud we call the internet. There is no algorithm or machine logic that creates the magic list of blogs which is then aggregated into alltop. This is down by humans. Humans? Yes, indeed.
