This spring, Andree and Peter from Techdings interviewed me on User Experience Design. You can listen to the interview (in German language) on TECHDINGS.COM. Although I appreciate efforts on good user experience, I dislike the hype around UX processes. As the user experience design process is not the hub of the universe, it has to be well integrated with change processes and innovation management. Therefore UX design should not be a process like playing a score – it’s playing jazz with other disciplines. Although there is not the UX process, designers of course need deep experience in UX methods to moderate, envision and enable good UX.
