We have been working with car-maker Porsche for several years to develop extremely user-friendly instruments.
- Task
- Since 2005, Intuity has cooperated with Porsche on a number of projects, mainly aimed at developing user interfaces. We focused our attention on human cognitive abilities, specific light conditions in the cockpit and ease of handling.
- Solution
- Together with Porsche’s research experts, we defined the colour management in line with production requirements and established a framework for programming user interface graphics. Based on the corporate design, we developed fonts that would offer good legibility whilst driving. Using a specially designed prototype, we were able to check and assess user-friendliness at an early stage of the development process.
- Result
- While accompanying the project right through to market launch, we also devise interface design studies, interactive prototypes and graphic interfaces with exact pixel specification. These help Porsche to create more user-friendly driver assistance systems in the future.
