We (Wang, Marius, and Luca) are in the middle of our six months internship at Intuity which started this spring. We quickly settled in our project teams and the entire Intuity team. We were able to play an active role in exciting projects and had the chance to influence the direction of our internship. Thanks to the genius heads here at Intuity, we had the opportunity to gain and improve valuable skills. For example experiencing the whole design process is one of the many things we can take with us. Here are a few words about ourselves:

Hi! My name is Yihuang Wang, and I am studying Interaction Design at the University of Applied Sciences Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany. I am curious about new technologies and prefer to explore the essence behind the phenomenon. Helping people solving problems gives me a sense of accomplishment which allows me to enjoy every step of a design process, from a concept to its realisation. I really appreciate working with the enthusiastic colleagues here at Intuity. The broad visions and delightful experiences I’ve gained here will be a clear guide for me in the future.

Hi, I am Marius. I am studying interaction design at the University of Applied Sciences Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany as well. My interest is to make the machine interface as natural and intuitive as possible for people. Exploring new topics and using technologies as a vehicle to solve problems and simplify everyday life is exciting to me. I usually work from paper to final implementation with focus on comprehensibility, simplicity, and user-friendliness. The goal is to leave the power and independence with the user. It is a pleasure for me to work with the Intuity team and to learn as much as possible from them. Meanwhile, I have already gained a lot of essential experiences in different areas here, which is of great use to me in my life and work.

Hi, I am Luca, and I’m studying Internet of Things at the University of Applied Sciences Schwäbisch Gmünd. In my studies, I learn a lot about designing concepts, applying particular design methods and gain a broad view of how to use technology in the right context. At Intuity, I have the opportunity to use all these capabilities by developing entirely technological product concepts and validating them regarding usability and logic. I also have the chance to delve deeply into the business context and see what our job can look and feel like in “real life.” Thus, I can say, I already gained much experience with strategic decisions and how to visualize and communicate what is in your brain. All in all, I have a really great time at Intuity and have found many areas where I can take a lot of valuable insights and new things learned with me.

We really enjoy our internship here at Intuity and look forward to more exciting and educative months. Thank you for having us. :)
