What superpowers are within our reach – and how do we turn them into good tools for people? How do they change systems and economies? How do machines learn to anticipate what the world expects of them? How does a system understand what a person needs – before they say it? How do you program living matter? How does the physical world become simulable before it's built?
AI is pushing boundaries – primarily in automation and orchestration. To fundamentally change energy, health, mobility, security, sovereignty, or production, we need more: biotech, robotics, quantum technology, new materials, brain interfaces, synthetic biology, autonomous systems. The questions are bigger than any single technology.
The Deeptech Application Lab is small, and the infrastructure grows with us – bioprinters, quantum scanners, robots, rapid prototyping.
We don't do basic research. We bring results from deeptech research and startups onto the path to market. The mandate lies with the team: create impact for clients and build success for Intuity.
We're looking for a Creator.
Someone who recognizes goals and pursues them. Who takes ownership of complex topics and iterates – hypothesis, test, learn, adapt – until the topic becomes a success.
Someone who wins real decision-makers: people who are willing to bet, not those who mistake waiting for strategy. Someone who orchestrates and leads, overcomes obstacles – smart and elegant, with clear communication and real commitment when needed.
Technical depth. Systems thinking. You understand how things work – not just how to call them. You penetrate complex systems and find the points where intervention becomes effective. And you recognize which hypotheses make it worthwhile for a client to pursue – technically and commercially. The background can be many things: computer science, physics, biology, engineering, or an unconventional path. PhD welcome, but not required.
Persuasion and leadership. You win people – through substance and through enthusiasm. You make decisions. When obstacles appear, you find ways: with clarity, with commitment, and with the necessary tenacity.
Curiosity and maker mentality. You read papers because you want to understand – and then you build something with them. You've built prototypes that failed, and that's why you know how to debug code, get hardware running, train a model. You dive into new domains and make them your own by applying them – not by talking about them.
The Deeptech Application Lab plays by its own rules. If you need established structures and clear processes, you won't be happy here. If you want technology without external impact, neither. And if you'd rather talk about technology than build it – even less so.
We're building a team where everyone shapes. New perspectives are welcome.

Note on Presence: Each team member plays an important role in our often highly exploratory projects. It is important for us to be able to exchange information and ideas quickly and easily. Therefore, we require each team member to be present in our Stuttgart office most of the time.
