Dear friends, partners, and companions of Intuity,
We want to accompany our New Year’s greetings with a guiding idea — a motif that serves as our compass. This year, it’s “Emergence – towards new horizons.”
Emergence describes the phenomenon where something new and greater arises from the interplay of many individual parts. Our colleague Julian Walz has captured this idea in the visual design shown. All of our colleagues were invited to mark areas within a grid system. Through the interplay of these contributions — combined with the experimental rules of his design system — fascinating, aesthetic graphics were created. Here is an glimpse of how it was made:
These designs were printed as cards and posters using the traditional screen printing process, as it best captures the vibrancy and brilliance of the colours.
We are convinced that desirable futures are created where committed people come together with heart, mind, and a drive to shape the world. Our world is in flux — restless, complex, and intertwined. Technological leaps, social upheavals, and economic transitions act like waves that amplify each other. Many things need to be rethought and remade. But what happens when our thoughts, feelings, or actions lead to dissonance? Here, we should consider the option of “letting go.” This is creating the capacity and openness needed to actively shape change. This is not blind trust or passivity — it is a mindset of action and a fertile ground for emergence.
At Intuity, we experience this phenomenon every day. When smart people come together in a room, ideas often emerge that no one could have had alone. This is emergence. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts!
When thinking and doing occur in a lively environment, we can trust that change will lead to improvement. This happens when business friends come to us to join forces to passionately tinker with new ideas for a better future. This is when the magic of the new is in the air. Almost like Christmas! We are deeply grateful to all of you for this.
We wish you a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Your Intuity Team
